Lauren Lascher, LCSW

Lauren is a compassionate clinician who works with individuals across the lifespan—from children to adults. She integrates psychodynamic insights and relational approaches with evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Mindfulness practices informed by neuroscience, and social skills training for individuals on the Autism Spectrum.

Lauren graduated magna cum laude from Lehigh University with a BA in Psychology and Spanish before completing her master’s in Clinical Social Work at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service. There, she was selected for the Trauma Track, gaining advanced training in trauma-informed care and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT). She also became a certified UCLA PEERS provider, equipping her to help clients on the Autism Spectrum develop and strengthen social and relational skills.

Clinically, Lauren specializes in treating anxiety, panic, depression, trauma, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. She incorporates CBT strategies to reduce symptoms and build effective coping mechanisms, and she uses Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)—the gold standard for OCD treatment—while tailoring her approach with integrative modalities when needed. Lauren completed training in ERP for OCD by New York Anxiety Treatment (NYAT) specialists.

In addition to symptom-focused work, Lauren helps clients navigate relationships, strengthen communication, and establish healthy boundaries. Her style is collaborative, empathetic, and nonjudgmental, often infused with humor, to create a therapeutic space grounded in trust and authenticity. Above all, she is committed to empowering her clients to heal, grow, and thrive.
